Our mission

While we may have witty and sarcastic product descriptions, our mission is a bit deeper than that. 

Healthcare workers face a lot of pressure doing what they do. They very often are understaffed, work long hours and do their jobs in many different stressful situations. This results in many of them suffering from stress, anxiety, burnout syndrome and depression. 

It is no secret that healthcare workers are more likely to suffer from depression and suicidal thoughts and even commit suicide than other workers. It is a global problem that usually is not addressed enough. 

Medical workers do their best everyday to help and heal others while leaving their own well-being behind. 

We want our happy scrubs to become a statement. There is a reason they are bright coloured, have animals, palm trees  and other fun creatures. Maybe these scrubs will become a reason to laugh at work, maybe they will be a reason you have something to talk about with your patient or a coworker to get your mind off work or maybe you will surprise your tired coworker who covered your shift last week with a fun Lionheart scrub top. If at least one person smiles while looking at our scrubs, we consider our mission accomplished. A smile, laughter or a talk can trigger an improvement in mental health.

We want these scrubs to become a symbol of a good mental health. We do not want you to buy these scrubs because they are fun to look at, we want you to buy them only after thinking about what mental health means to you and what you are actually doing about it.
